My name is Jenni Harris, and I am the designer/owner of Sweet Abby Designs.  I currently work from my home office in Indianapolis, IN.  My family is pictured above – my husband Steve, our big boy Aden, and of course, our sweet Abby.  Steve works from home as well, making a difference in the education of students through the school curriculum he sells.  I knew he was the one for me when I saw how he treated his mother.  Steve makes me laugh like no other, and he is the most loving, selfless person I have ever met.  Aden is our junior entomologist, who loves any tiny insect or creature he can get his hands on.  He tells amazing stories and I get lost in his deep brown eyes.  Abby is a girly-girl who melts my heart with her sweet voice.  I love how she trots around with all of her purses, and how she gives me neverending hugs to avoid getting her hair combed.  I have a great family and team, and I am thankful for the sacrifices they have made to help this dream come to be.

As for me...growing up in a small town near Indianapolis,  I discovered that God gave me this passion for any kind of project that allowed me to be creative.  Later, as an elementary teacher, I enjoyed the creativity I could bring to my classroom and lesson plans.  After becoming a mother, I feel so blessed to have been able to make the decision to stay home with my kids.  I loved the time with them, but realized a small part of me was missing.  When Abby was about 10 months old, God gave me an idea to start a business in personalizing items, and I just ran with it.  As I began designing things, part of me became alive again.  I felt like I was on an emotional high every time I stepped into my office.  This business is such a blessing to allow me to be home with my kids at the same time as using my creative gifts to help provide for my family.
